The Gunners side Arsenal are in desperate search of a confidence-boosting win at the Riverside against Middlesbrough after losing 3-0 to Crystal Palace last week.

Arsenal traveled to the Riverside tonight to face the Middlesbrough in search for what would be just their second win in their last five Premier League appearances.

The Gunners are facing difficult time as they will be staring down the barrel of a first season without being featured in the Champions League football in 20 years under Arsene Wenger.

Though they have two games in hand on most of the sides above them , the north London team are languishing in seventh position right now, and find themselves ten points off the top four – this is an unusual position for Arsene Wenger’s team.

However, the host team ‘Middlesbrough’ are currently deeply planted in the relegation zone, with just Sunderland worse off, but Boro caretaker Steve Agnew hasn’t thrown in the towel just yet and says his players will have no fear against Arsenal tonight.

The game takes place today which happens to be Monday April 17th, with kick-off at 20:00.

You can watch the game live from the Riverside Stadium on Sky Sports 1.
