The people of 20th Century Fox have made-up their minds that we ought to start celebrating the holidays right away. Therefor, we have been blessed with the very first trailer for Ridley Scott’s Alien Covenant in all of its awesome glory.
“It’s hard to scare people,” Scott tells EW. “It’s a lot easier to make people laugh. But to scare the sh*t out of somebody? That’s difficult” he added.
Alien Covenant will be out on May 19, and it story centers on the crew of a colony ship who think they’ve found a great new planet when, unfortunately for them, it’s a nightmare they must escape from, less it overwhelms them… For those who thought that the 2012’s Prometheus was creepy and confusing, Scott says that this film will provide some answers. “Alien Covenant is really going to show you who did it and why.”
Released as the clock struck midnight on Christmas Day, the debut teaser begins with a graphic sequence (chestbursters, meet backbursters), and goes on to showcase much more of the film’s all-star cast, which includes Michael Fassbender (returning from Prometheus as David the android), Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Jussie Smollett, and Billy Crudup, who meets a facehugger face first.
The awesome trailer closes with another good violent set piece; a scene of shower sex interrupted with vengeance by a fully grown xenomorph.
review the trailer above and have in mind that you’re not in space so, yes, everybody will definitely hear you scream! enjoy your holidays, happy Xmas!
